Rich Dowd, WIN Home Inspection Saratoga, NY
Rich Dowd of WIN Saratoga joined WIN in 2005. Rich said he loves being around other people so the marketing side of the business came easy to him.
Before joining WIN, Rich worked for the McDonald’s Corporation as an Operations Manager where he dealt with high-priority sales and made many sales-related presentations. But Rich was ready for a change after 30 years with the corporation, so he began looking into a franchise business. Rich decided a home inspection franchise was a good fit with his background and would allow him to be his own boss and set his own schedule. “I love dealing with people and I have owned over 10 homes in my life.”After researching many home inspection franchises, Rich knew there were many benefits to being part of any franchise group; he chose WIN Home Inspection because it is strongly service oriented. “WIN seems to be ahead of the curve and more proactive in the field,” Rich said. He said with WIN’s helpful support staff, he is able to be out in the field marketing and inspecting rather than creating his business plan from scratch.
Rich strives to serve his clients and will go out of his way to make sure they are happy. “Service is number one for me,” Rich said. “I go out of my way to meet and exceed their expectations—I’m in it for the long haul!”
