Featured WIN Home Inspection Franchise
When he’s not singing in the Utah Opera or water-skiing one of Utah’s beautiful mountain lakes, Neil Morris of WIN Sandy is busy running his successful WIN business. Since joining the WIN network in April 2005, he has strived to build lasting relationships with his clients. Before joining WIN, Neil worked for a worldwide software company as a Human Resources Director. But for years, his hobby was buying, selling and renting homes so he decided to invest further in the real estate industry. After stumbling upon a WIN Home Inspection link online, he decided to make a career change. “The tech field wasn’t as fun anymore and WIN went hand-in-hand with what I enjoy doing,” Neil said. “I compared other home inspection franchises but chose WIN Home Inspection because of its professional image and approach. It stands apart from the others with its training, tools and inspection reports.” When Neil first started his business, there were no other WIN locations nearby his area. He worked hard to build the WIN brand along with his inspection business in Sandy, Utah. If he wasn’t performing an inspection, he was marketing at real estate offices and open houses. “It took a few months before I had a steady flow of business,” he said. “But I absolutely followed the WIN marketing and business training and it worked. I treated it like a 40-hour a week job; if I wasn’t on an inspection, I would be out marketing.” Neil said the most important aspect of having a successful WIN business is handling your business professionally and interacting with the REALTORS®, home buyers, sellers and real estate investors. He said it’s important to be flexible and understanding of everyone’s hectic schedules. “Ninety-five percent of the time, I print the inspection report on-site,” he said. “I go over it right there with the client so they don’t have to sit and wait for it. This is impressive to both the client and REALTOR®. I do whatever I can to accommodate their needs.” After being a part of WIN for about four years, Neil is still very happy with his decision to become a WIN Strategic-Partner. “I love being my own boss and doing things the WIN way,” he said. “I have more flexibility than I did at my corporate job; I enjoy what I do every day so much more.” More Featured FranchisesClick on the WIN Home Inspection locations listed below and read what they have to say about the WIN Home Inspection franchise opportunity.
