Greg Moderacki, WIN Home Inspection Lancaster, CA
After retiring from the Navy in 1999, Greg Moderacki of WIN Lancaster took a position as a shipping and receiving supervisor for an aircraft maintenance company. After a few years, he was ready for another career change and became interested in owning his own business. “I wanted the flexibility of being my own boss and setting my own schedule.” he said. “I looked at four home inspection franchises, and after speaking with the franchise director at WIN, it was a no-brainer for me to join the organization.”
Greg said he was impressed with WIN’s “Discovery Process”—something the other inspection companies didn’t do. WIN’s established franchise network, marketing and business plans and advanced technology only made his decision easier. He joined the WIN network in June 2005.
Since becoming a WIN franchise operator, Greg has joined the Antelope Valley Chamber of Commerce, his local Business Network International (BNI) group and the Greater Antelope Valley Association of Realtors, where he serves on the Special Events Committee. Being a member of these groups and an active member of his community helps him network with other local business owners and real estate professionals.
Greg feels the main reason his WIN business continues to grow is because he follows the marketing and business plans daily. He attends networking events and drops off WIN marketing materials to real estate professionals weekly. Greg takes advantage of the Strategic-Partner network and uses the WIN Intranet forums often. “There are so many diverse people and backgrounds in the network, I learn a lot from watching and responding in the forums,” he said. “I use them to get advice and ideas on how to solve an issue or run my business better over the years.
After a short period of time as a WIN business operator, Greg has continued to increase his business and follow the WIN marketing and business plans. His hard work, community involvement and dedication to the WIN system have made him a great inspector and Strategic-Partner.
